Biography

Bill Richardson is an entrepreneur having founded and built a series of venture funds that invested in 17 companies in Hawaiʻi two of which went public on the NASDAQ exchange. Since 2002, Bill has been a UH Business School Adjunct Professor and Law School Lecturer in Law specializing in teaching Entrepreneurship. Prior to his venture funds, Bill spent almost 10 years at Wang Laboratories in sales, marketing and management, and 5 years as a lawyer specializing in Securities documentation.

Bill’s non-profit work has focused on mentorship as a co-founder of HiBEAM, an incubator for start-up fast growing companies, the initial co-chair of UH Connections with David McClain, former UH President. He was formerly a Trustee of the UH Foundation, the Trust for Public Lands, and the Entrepreneurs Foundation.
