Winnie Taylor joined Brooklyn Law School in 2008 where she teaches contracts, consumer law and commercial law courses. She previously taught at Cornell Law School from 1990-2008 and is a national authority in consumer law, contracts, and credit and employment discrimination. For the past 30 years she has served as a consultant for Fair Lending and Workplace Equity, focusing on equal credit opportunity and equal employment opportunity laws. She has written extensively on the federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act and is a former member of the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council. She also has participated as an instructor in a Federal Trade Commission program to train its attorneys regarding fair lending and other consumer banking issues.
