Catherine M. Fujisaki is Vice President and Manager of the Personal Trust Department at Central Pacific Bank. She previously practiced trust law and estate planning at Cades Schutte LLLP and her own firm, Manoa Estate Planning LLC. She also clerked in the Probate Court for the Honorable Colleen K. Hirai, Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court.
Ms. Fujisaki graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Accounting and the University of California, Los Angeles with an M.B.A. emphasizing finance. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law. As a law student, Ms. Fujisaki received the Lawrence H. Kono Memorial Award for Federal Income Tax and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Federal Income Taxation and Corporate and Partnership Tax.
Ms. Fujisaki is an attorney, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). Prior to her legal career, Ms. Fujisaki worked as a corporate controller, an investment manager and a real estate broker.
Ms. Fujisaki is a member of the Hawai'i State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. In the Hawai'i State Bar Association, she is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section and has served as an officer of the Elder Law and Probate and Estate Planning Sections. She co-authored the Hawai'i Conservatorship and Guardianship Forms Manual. She is admitted to practice before all Hawai'i courts and the United States District Court for the District of Hawai'i.
