Alumni Association/Environmental Law Society Stream Clean-up April 19, 2008.

The Richardson Law School Alumni Association and the Law School’s Environmental Law Society (ELS) will be partnering on a stream clean-up on Saturday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to around 12 noon. We will be meeting at 9 a.m. in the Law School parking lot (diamond head makai corner of Dole St. and Lower Campus Rd.) and carpooling from there. If people are late and get left behind they can come and find us in the ELS’ section of Mānoa/Palolo streams. ELS’ adopted area starts at the ewa end of Waialae Avenue, right before the road turns right into the back entrance of the UH lower campus (near Murakami stadium) or gets to H1 west-bound. Alumni can park on a small side street (Koali Rd.), which is the first right off of Waialae Ave. ewa-bound past its intersection with Kapahulu Ave. (the intersection with the huge new self-storage facility on the corner).

Volunteers should wear old or stained clothes, old covered shoes, and bring sunscreen, a hat and water. If you have work gloves, please bring them also. Otherwise, gloves will be supplied. We will provide drinking water, If you have questions, please contact us by email at lawalum@hawaii.edu.
