Anticipating the stress of final semester exams, the Law School Student Services Staff has put together two days of ‘Wellness’ activities for students, faculty, and staff that include everything from zumba to yoga, lomilomi massage, meditation, puppy petting and slam poetry.
Included, too, are $2 frozen treats from Jamba Juice.
“This is designed to help our Law students at a stressful time – just prior to finals,” notes Ramona Hussey, Administrative Assistant for Student Services and Assistant Director of the Evening/Part-time Division. Many of the services were offered and are being provided on a volunteer basis by the practitioners.
Law Dean Avi Soifer said that: “Putting this together supplies yet more evidence of how much our staff members do to help our students. We are a uniquely caring Law School and our entire staff has a great deal to do with enhancing this atmosphere, along with student and community volunteers.”
