How will I know if you have received my application?
We will send you an application acknowledgment email within five days of receiving your application. This email will include log in information for the online status page. You can always find the most up-to-date information about your application online.

I submitted my application via LSAC, but I have not received an application acknowledgment email from the Law School. What should I do?
Please check your junk and spam email folders and make sure that you can accept messages from esteele@hawaii.edu. If seven days have passed and you still have not received an application acknowledgment email from us, email esteele@hawaii.edu.

What does my current status on the online status page mean?
See Online Status.

I misplaced my username and password for the online status page. What should I do?
Username: LSAC typically uses the following naming convention: first letter of your first name, first four letters of your last name, last four digits of your LSAC number (e.g., aabcd6789). If that doesn't work, email lawadm@hawaii.edu.
Password: Click on the "Forgot Password?" link on the Online Status page

The priority, first-year JD application deadline is February 1 at Midnight HST. When should I submit my electronic application?
Please submit your complete application as soon as you receive the LSAT score you would like us to consider.

Do not wait until the last minute to submit your application. LSAC warns, "Internet slowness, server problems at your ISP or elsewhere, or other issues beyond LSAC's control may occur, resulting in the deadline passing without your application being transmitted." See LSAC Electronic Applications.

I have finished the online application form, but I haven't submitted it because I am waiting for a letter of recommendation (or updated transcript). Do I need to wait?
No. You can submit your application now. LSAC will forward the letter of recommendation (or updated transcript) to us after they receive it.

I just noticed a mistake on the application I submitted via LSAC. Can I edit the application and resend it?
No. Once you complete the LSAC checkout process, you cannot make changes to your application.

I'm having trouble with the application. Who should I contact?
Contact LSAC Candidate Services.
