Dr. Michelle Evans, a 2013 Fulbright Scholar, will be presenting the following talk, "Navigating the Territories of Indigenous Leadership:  Exploring the Experiences and Practices of Australian Indigenous Arts Leaders."  This presentation explores the experiences and practices of Australian Indigenous Arts leaders within the context of practical leadership application.  Dr. Evans will explore four distinct territories or contexts across which artists work to provide leadership to their communities and suggest what we can learn more broadly from the leadership work of indigenous artists.
