Philippine environmental lawyer, Antonio Oposa, Jr. is a pioneer in the practice of environmental law in the Philippines and is one of Asia's leading voices in the field of international law.  He received the 2009 Ramon Magsaysay Award, which is Asia's highest award for public service.  This event is brought to you by the Environmental Law Program and co-sponsored by the Center for Philippine Studies, the Hawaii Filipino Law Students Association and the Hawaii Filipino Lawyers Association.  Please join us and rsvp at elp@hawaii.edu to help us with food count.  Light refreshments will be provided beginning at 11:35am.  Check out the flyer for more details!
