Come join us for an ELP Colloquium discussion on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 12pm on “An Environmental Court in Hawai’i?” where three esteemed panelists will discuss the possibility and potential of establishing an environmental court in Hawai‘i. The panel will feature the Honorable judge Michael D. Wilson who prior to his nomination as a judge of the O‘ahu First Circuit Court’s Criminal Division, has served as the the Chairperson of the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) and played a crucial role in the Save Sandy Beach litigation in the 1980s. The panel will also feature William Tam, the current Deputy Director for the Commission on Water Resource Management and Randy Awo, the current DLNR Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement (DOCARE) Chief.
