Third Hawaiʻi Bankruptcy Workshop

Wednesday, August 11, 2010 (All day)

ABI is very pleased to join forces with the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaiʻi, the Institute of Asian-Pacific Business Law at the Law School, and the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Hawaiʻi State Bar Association to present the Third Hawaiʻi Bankruptcy Workshop.

The open workshop educational format will allow open dialogue between presenters and attendees, and the triple track timeline allows customization of your learning experience. Choose between Business, Consumer or International tracks. Half-day sessions allow for fun optional events in the afternoons and extended refreshment breaks and evening networking events allow you to absorb the wonderful culture on the Hawaiian Islands with your fellow attendees.

The Fairmont Orchid Hawaiʻi, our host hotel, is second to none. Located within the 3,200-acre Mauna Lani Resort, the Fairmont Orchid Hawaiʻi is an excellent starting point for Big Island adventures, offers luxurious accommodations and is approximately 22 miles from Keahole-Kona International Airport.

If you’re looking for a Hawaiʻi vacation like none other, then make your plans to visit The Big Island. The aptly-named isle is by far the largest island in the Hawaiian chain: Combine the size of all the others, double that figure, and the Big Island is still the larger land mass. Interestingly enough, this extra space does not translate to population, since only approximately 140,000 people, many of them living in urban areas like Hilo, call the island home. A nature-lover's paradise, the Big Island has remained relatively unspoiled, and its protected forests include the Kau, Kapapala and Ruu Makaala Reserves in the south and the Mauna Kea, Kohala and Hakalau Reserves in the north.
