Interactive Session on Responsible Conduct of Research (NIH Mandate)

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education will conduct an interactive session on Responsible Conduct of Research on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Hosted by the William S. Richardson School of Law and taught by a multi-disciplinary team of faculty members, the session will complement the CITI Responsible Conduct of Research on-line training. This is a mandated NSF interactive session that all Post Doctorate students and those supported by National Science Foundation grants are required to attend. Alternate date is September 30th, 12noon to 3pm. Taught by a team of multidisciplinary team leaders. Topics include human and animal subjects, conflicts of interest, data management, authorship, collaborative research, research misconduct (falsification, fabrication, and plagiarism), mentor trainee responsibilities, and peer review.
