Alumni Association and Environmental Law Society Stream Clean-Up

Saturday, April 19, 2008 (All day)

Three Alumni Association members joined five Environmental Law Society (ELS) members to clean a portion of Mānoa Stream from 9-11:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 21st.  The crew cleaned the portion of the stream that had been "adopted" by ELS under the City's "Adopt a Stream" program (between the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and Kaimuki High School).  Twelve large bags of trash were collected, as well as several pieces of metal, pieces of furniture and a shopping cart.  Mahalo to alumni Becca Dayhuff ('07), Nam Phan ('07), and Jim Williston ('78) for their efforts to clean the Mānoa Stream and to ELS for coordinating the effort.
