With the sun shining down on the Leeward coast, 25 alumni and friends joined Habitat for Humanity and the Sadamaru family in helping prepare their lot for their future home. The morning was spent clearing rocks, debris, and weeds from the lot. In the afternoon, the robust and enthusiastic crew poured 15 concrete footings that will support the main beams of the home. In addition to this work, a few alumni also assisted with carpentry work at a second site nearing completion. To learn more about this successful service project, please read the upcoming alumni newsletter. Special thanks go out to Kirsha Durante, '04, who helped coordinate the event with her father Kirk Durante, Project Manager for Habitat for Humanity.
