U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia will visit the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai‘i on Monday, Feb. 3 to teach a class, and he then will make brief remarks and will answer questions.
What: Question and Answer session with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Scalia in Law School Courtyard.
When: From 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3.
Where: UH Richardson Law School Courtyard, 2515 Dole St. Visitor parking available in the quarry parking structure.
Format: Justice Scalia will make brief remarks regarding constitutional interpretation before taking questions from students. During the question period photographers will be able to take still photos only for the first one to two minutes and then in the final one to two minutes.
No video photography.
Pencil and pad coverage only is permitted, but recording devices are allowed for note-taking purposes but not for broadcast. There will be no opportunity for interviews or questions from the media.
