Professor Jill Ramsfield is retiring after eight years of directing and teaching legal writing and research at WSRSL. In lieu of a retirement party, Jill has asked us to establish a need-based scholarship to benefit full- and part-time students at the Law School. Jill recalls how she worked at three different jobs during her time in law school, so she knows how much even a little financial aid can help.
On the eve of her retirement, Jill says that she can think of no better way to celebrate her four decades of teaching and helping students than by creating a scholarship that helps our students. Because of her generosity, Jill has asked and we have agreed to forego the expense of a retirement party and, instead, to use those funds to establish the Ramsfield Scholarship with the University of Hawai’i Foundation.
Please consider making a contribution to the Jill Ramsfield Scholarship in lieu of a party, gifts, and flowers.
