After having worked for the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong and been elected as a senior participant of the Sino-Swiss Public Management Training Program funded by the Chinese Central government and the Swiss government, I joined All Bright Law Offices as a partner in Shanghai. AllBright Law Offices is a national law firm and the largest in Shanghai (and in the whole Eastern China region). My practice areas are real estate investment and financing, bank finance, securities, trust legal services, foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, dispute settlements.

MY HAWAIʻI EXPERIENCE

My Hawaiʻi LL.M program experience broadened my horizon. It provided me with the best sources of study and guidance from excellent professors. William S. Richardson School of Law was a perfect platform to improve my understanding of American legal system. It enhanced my professional skills, equipped me with an ability to deal with complex legal issues, as well as helped me cultivate a keen sense on analyzing problems.

TIPS FOR LLM STUDENTS

Try to make the best use of the excellent opportunities to broaden your mind. Engage yourself in different activities with your co-students, since this is also a way to gain a better comprehensive understanding of the law. Don’t hesitate to ask for assistance from the excellent professors and colleagues so that they can help you improve your studies. Focus your attention on your specialized field and make a career plan before you start your program. When all of this is done, do not forget to enjoy the beautiful Hawai‘i sunshine and scenery!
