Registration for 1Ls

Most of you may register from August 13, 2014, beginning at 8:00 AM HST. Registration ends at 4:00 PM HST on August 14, 2014. 

Note for UH employees and their spouses or domestic partners: If you plan to use a tuition waiver, please review the registration instructions at http://manoa.hawaii.edu/records/fac_staff/register.html. You should disregard the registration date and time posted in MyUH. Faculty/Staff Tuition Waivers are valid only for classes registered for during the Late Registration Period (August 25 to September 3 at 4:00 PM HST). You will be responsible for all applicable tuition and fees if you register before the late registration period. No refunds will be issued.

Confirm that you are able to register for classes. 

  • Log in to MyUH.
  • Click on "Check Registration Status" in the left column under "Student Services." 

You must resolve all health clearance or financial holds before you can register. 

If there is a problem which prevents you from registering for the class, you will get a "Registration Errors" message.  Don't panic! Please bring a print-out of the error to the Law School Registrar's Office during Orientation.

Register using Quick Registration.

  • Log in to MyUH.
  • Click on "Registration" in left column under "Student Services."
  • Click on "YES - Begin Quick Registration" under "I. Completed The Pre-Registration Checklist?"

You may be prompted to select the term that you wish to register in.

  • Click on the pull down box next to "Term."
  • Select "Fall 2014."
  • Click on "Submit."

To register for classes using "Quick Registration," do the following:

  • Click on the pull down box under "Institution."
  • Select " University of Hawaii at Manoa."
  • Enter the 5-digit CRN in the box to the left for each class.  See below.
  • Click on "Submit Changes."

Courses:

NOTE:  You will be assigned to the LAW 504 Legal Practice Plenary, one LAW 504 Legal Practice I Section, and one LAW 520C Advanced Legal Studies: Legal Research Section. All section assignments will be made at Orientation, and our Registrar will register you for these THREE classes. 

You must register for the remaining classes. See below.

Change class [grading] options.

All 1L classes must be taken for Credit/No Credit.  At the end of the first semester, you will receive advisory grades.  These advisory grades will be used to determine your academic status and whether your are eligible to continue following the first semester of the first year. 

  • Log in to MyUH.
  • Click on "Registration" in left column under "Student Services."
  • Click on "Change Class Options" (under "Other Tasks").
  • Under each class, go to the "Grade Mode" drop-down menu and select "Credit/No Credit."
  • Click on "Submit Changes."

Pay tuition.

September 3, 2014 at 4:00 PM is the payment receipt deadline for incoming students.

Financial aid will not be applied to your account balance until after you complete all outstanding requirements and register for classes. Any refunds available will be generated after your account balance has been paid. All refunds will be mailed to you or directly deposited into your bank account if you signed up for eRefunds. We strongly encourage you to sign up for eRefunds. You may view your charges/make payment screen to track payments and refunds at MyUH.

  • Log in to MyUH.
  • To make a payment, go to "View My Charges/Make a Payment."
  • Select "Click here to access the Student Account Home Page."
  • Select "Make a Payment" under your current account status.
