Why did you choose UH Law?
Richardson was my only choice for two reasons.

  1. Debt is not sexy. The cost of attending Richardson is extremely affordable.
  2. This is Hawai'i. Period. Why would you go to law school elsewhere?

What were you doing before you started Law School?
I was leading a mysterious and intriguing life. As an undergraduate student. I was also working part-time in the travel industry, which taught me a valuable life lesson: nothing is beneath you. Nothing.

Where are you headed after you graduate?
I'll probably go home and take a nap to make up for the three years of lost sleep. Litigation might be in the stars for me, but I'm no psychic.

Describe UH Law in three words.
'Ohana. Wow. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

What surprised you most about the UH Law?
I think the level of camaraderie surprised me most. It's a "uniting in the face of adversity" kind of thing. I mean, there's something to be said when you're running on zero hours of sleep, you're still working on that assignment, the sun is rising, and there are at least twenty people on Facebook, chatting you, and sending you positive vibes. It almost makes you forget that you're seeing spots and talking to yourself.

Where can we find you when you’re not in class?
A coffee shop, napping under a carrel, or at work.

How would you describe your classmates?
One word: perfect.
