Why did you choose UH Law?
Hawai‘i is home, and the William S. Richardson School of Law is Hawai‘i’s law school. UH Law School alumni include successful practitioners and valuable contributors to Hawai‘i in a variety of other roles.

What were you doing before you started Law School?
After college, I worked on the East Coast as an account executive with M&T Bank’s Mid-Atlantic contract and commercial surety operations.

Describe a highlight of your law school experience.
Taking the Law Students’ pledge at the Hawai‘i Supreme Court tops the list.

Which professor has most inspired you? How?
All of the professors I’ve studied with are excellent; there is no shortage of inspiration. Recognizing that a strong research and writing foundation is very important in the legal profession, I was fortunate to be in Professor Avis Poai’s Legal Practice section. Professor Poai put in quite a bit of time critiquing our work and providing valuable feedback to her students.

Describe your UH law school experience in 3 words.
Challenging. Stimulating. Unique.

Where can we find you when you're not in class?
Studying at home or in the library. Recharging with family and friends. Gardening. Jogging. Coaching AYSO soccer.

What do you like most about UH Law?
Everyone is committed to your success. And I get to start and end each day with a view of Diamond Head!
