As part of its ongoing program, “Asia Pacific in the News,” the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa’s School of Pacific and Asian Studies (SPAS) is sponsoring a third presentation, “H1N1 and Asia.” The panel discussion will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2009, at the Center for Korean Studies on the UH Mānoa campus.
The presentation will examine H1N1 and its impact throughout Asia and the Pacific, providing new insights into the ways that different countries responded to the threat of the illness, and ensuing economic and diplomatic crises.
