Biography

Li‘ulā is a Post-Juris Doctor Research Fellow for Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law. She graduated cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2009 with a Pacific Asian Legal Studies Certificate with a Specialty in Native Hawaiian Law. While in law school, Li‘ulā was a student officer, Community Board Director, and Community Board Secretary for Advocates for Public Interest Law. She was also a 2007 Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law Summer Fellow and worked at the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation. In 2008, Li‘ulā was a legal research assistant for Professor Melody MacKenzie and worked on revisions to the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act chapter of the Native Hawaiian Rights Handbook.
