Recent Awards, Appointments, Grants & Honors

E. Sunny Greer graduated from the Law School in 2008 and was the first student to receive both a Pacific Asian Legal Studies Certificate with a Specialty in Native Hawaiian Law and a Certificate in Environmental Law. While attending law school, Sunny served as an ‘Ahahui o Hawai‘i Alaka‘i and was an officer for the Environmental Law Society, Advocates for Public Interest Law, and the Public Health Law Organization. She was also a 2008 Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law Summer Fellow and worked at the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation. Sunny also completed externships at Earthjustice and the Trust for Public Land, was Co-Comments Editor of the Asian-Pacific Law & Policy Journal, and a legal research assistant for Professor Jill Ramsfield in Legal Practice. Sunny lives in Kahana Valley and serves on the Board of Directors of Ke Ola Mamo, Oahu Land Trust, and the Oahu Resource Conservation & Development Council.
